RE is one of our foundation subjects and is taught discretely in every class, every week. In EYFS and KS1 for at least 40 mins per week and in KS2 for at least 60 mins per week.
To be tolerate and respectful of others faiths and beliefs.
To be inquisitive about world faiths.
To understand the importance faith holds in the lives of many.
To enable pupils to know about and understand Christianity as a living world faith, by exploring core theological concepts.
Our RE curriculum is based on the Shropshire Agreed RE Syllabus 2021-2026.
